What’s the difference between balayage and highlights?

To be honest… very little these days. Balayage was traditionally a technique where the blonde was blended through the ends from your natural and highlights went straight from the roots. However, now as balayage clients want their blonde higher and higher, the difference between the two is sometimes minimal.
All you need to do is explain to your stylist at your consultation how you want to look by bringing in pictures of what you like and don’t like, and we’ll do the rest. No more worrying about the words!
