As we step into 2024, we are thrilled to share some exciting changes at Safy B's. This year, we are embarking on a journey towards becoming a more sustainable salon, and it all begins with our partnership with the Green Salon Collective.
In the world of hairdressing, we understand that beauty and sustainability go hand in hand. While we love transforming your look and boosting your confidence, we also acknowledge the environmental impact our industry can have. From pouring toxic hair color down the sink to disposing of foils and color tubes in regular bins, we recognize the need for change.
Enter the Green Salon Collective, a beacon of hope for a greener, more sustainable future in the hairdressing industry. Founded by environmental experts, hairdressers, and eco campaigners, they stand as the original authority on holistic salon sustainability across the UK and Ireland.
What does this mean for Safy B's?

Zero-to-Landfill Recycling: We are proud to join hands with the Green Salon Collective to ensure that none of our salon waste goes to landfill. From hair and foils to color tubes and even salon towels, we're committed to responsible disposal.

Recycling Profits, Too: Here's the exciting part - 100% of any money raised from recycling your raw materials or new products made from your waste goes to amazing causes. By recycling our profits, every month we can support charities and organizations close to our hearts, including FoodCycle, Haircuts4Homeless, and Mossy Earth.

Hair's Green Impact: Your hair can even be recycled too! The Green Salon Collective is working on hair boom and mat projects that could see your hair soaking up an oil spill, and they will also be using it for gardening and composting.
A Small Step, A Big Impact: The £1 Green Fee
A small "GREEN FEE" of £1 will be add on every visit. By opting into this green fee, you are actively participating in recycling your color tubes, foil, and hair in up to 10 different ways. This fee is 100% optional, and if you'd like to opt out,
please let us know.
